The Black Hill Project tells the story of how skateboarding in the mid 1970's on the black hills behind the La Costa Resort in Carlsbad California influenced skateboarding.

It includes the timeline of events, the people and the place that were the core creative force leading to the development of skateboarding and skateboarding products/equipment.

These years are the roots of the La Costa Racing Team today.

Every $500 of donations in this category provides a junior racer with all of their equipment needs.

Equipment includes:

Complete slalom skateboard $280

Includes: Deck, wheels, truck, assembly, hardware with wrench (Product from Sk8Kings)

Full Face racing helmet $90 (Product from Bell Co., & TSG Co.)

Safety equipment $65

Includes: knee & elbow pads, wrist guards & gloves

1- 12 skaters ($300 additional for 13-24 persons, $300 additional for 25-36 persons)
