Record keeping: Secretary will collect and store all corporate documents, logs, membership applications, signed race liability release forms, insurance papers, contracts with outside services (EMT, Police), bank statements, public service activities; and all other data relating to the business of LCRTeam and its races, create/approve forms (i.e. liability, membership application)

Budget: create an annual budget to be approved by Board of Directors.

Supervise the filing of our annual tax statement for IRS and State of California by Octoberl 15.

Purpose: To teach slalom skills to all ages from beginning skills, through intermediate skills, to advanced skills.

Members: Lynn Kramer, Chair; Patrick Lehrmann (intermediate coach), Erin Barber (beginners coach).

Tasks: appoint committee members, safety check/ equipment readiness, teach slalom skills, plan clinics, observe and critique skater skills and equipment, schedule practice sessions, report attendance to Secretary for the record.

Purpose: to offer San Diego County races for all ages.

Members: Collin Kruse, Chair; Lynn Kramer, Erin Barber.

Tasks: appoint committee members, obtain needed permits, solicit volunteers, set race schedule, promote races/clinics, obtain and distribute race flyers, post event on social media, evaluate race equipment for repair/replacement, set up equipment, runthe race/clinic, tear down after the day’s use, awards, debrief each event.

Purpose: to insure a smooth running event.

Members: Erin Barber, Chair; James Gillespie, Connie Cashman, parents/supporters.

Tasks: appoint committee members; (1) Pre-race -secure canopy, chairs, water, trash bags. solicit volunteers, obtain snacks, check timing program. (2) Race day -conduct registration, serve as starter, serve as timer/recorder, supervise clean up, forward registration forms to the Secretary.

Purpose: to plan and coordinate public service events.

Members: Eric Barber, Chair; all Team members are part of this committee.

Tasks: Not limited to road side clean up, sport water bottle drive, slalom clinics, recycle skateboard decks, and graffiti removal. Appoint committee members. Report activity to the Secretary.

Purpose: to plan and implement activities that promote a healthy lifestyle for youth.

Members: Di Dootson Rose, Chair; all Team members are part of this committee.

Tasks: Research and select activities to teach healthy lifestyle. Report activity to the Secretary.

Purpose: Fill the slate of BoD Officers for member consideration.

Members: Chair and 2 members to be appointed by invitation of President.

Tasks: Solicit nominees for all BoD Officers from the membership and their acceptance of the nomination; produce and distribute a ballot for all members; host nominations from the floor at the annual meeting; receive and tally members ballots; announce results; lead swearing in of new officers.

Purpose: to increase slalom opportunities for skateboarders; income.

Members: George Fredericks, Chair; all Team members are part of this committee.

Tasks: Create public announcements (press release, mission statement, flyers). Use social media. Contact skate clubs, schools, youth organizations for presentations. Post flyers at skate parks and downhill events. Propose membership fees to the BoD for acceptance. Provide link to membership application on line. Answer questions about the benefits of membership and its fees. Keep a list of members in good standing. Record members who have completed the SafeSport training; schedule repeat course trainings annually.

Purpose: to coordinate fundraising efforts.

Members: Pat Lehrmann, Chair; all Team members are part of this committee.

Tasks: Appoint committee members. Plan, coordinate, lead, debrief, and document solicitation efforts.
